Bitcoin now accepted at Pick n Pay Supermarket in South Africa
This could be the world’s first supermarket to accept bitcoin as payment thanks to Pick n Pay and Luno, 2 South African companies.

Unfortunately, it can only be done at one store in Cape Town Pick ‘n Pay in test, but I can see this be rolled out to the rest of the country soon.

TakeALot have been accepting Bitcoin for quite some time now going via PayFast and was the first foot in the door to use bitcoin here in South Africa.
If the technology is easier to use, the majority will start working toward earning in places like Steemit instead of being unemployed, find a way around becoming employed in a country with exceptionally high unemployment for our youth.

When it comes to BTC any news is a good news. But when its news about adoption, it is a fantastic news!
I m always curious what reaction that will cause in USA and EU, when Canada / Swiss / Africa is looking positive into Bitcoin, and others like China, is US is making more and more restrictions, when it comes to cryptos.
The adoption is spreading. That why they say Bitcoin is going to the Moon. lol
