Hi @coingecko

Very interesting your publication however, personally called my attention the name of the company, BitMEX at first separate words in Bit I assumed the meaning of Bitcoin and then MEX thought due to my ignorance that it was a Mexican company.

But I could not be left with the doubt so I investigated, I visited the page https://www.bitmex.com/ and I saw this message in the lower left corner.

BitMEX and the mobile apps issued under BMEX are wholly owned and operated by HDR Global Trading Limited, a Republic of Seychelles incorporated entity or its relevant authorised affiliates.
Cryptocurrency charts by TradingView.

The investigate Republic of Seychelles, I am very surprised that the geographical address of Republic of Seychelles is an archipelago of 115 islands in the Indian Ocean, off East Africa.
That I found very interesting especially the location and that it handles a high volume.

Companies can choose to incoporate in any jurisdiction they so chooses but choose to operate their offices anywhere else in the world. Many companies in the states have similar examples, feel free to check out this article
