Should crypto currency be the new currency?

With the coming collapse of our current currency, and the outstanding rise of the crypto's gives way to the question should crypto currencies like Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin,etc... become our new standard for our day to day transactions? Well lets look at some of the problems. For starters we don't even know who really made it (Bitcoin)and for what it was really made for. Since platforms such as Bitcoin are limited to a finite amount, would it cause problems if we were to take it on as our main form of currency, not only in this country but in all others as well? Furthermore if we did collectively agree to cryptocurrency being our standard form of payment what would it mean for our current way of life? (think deep for the last question) And for the positives. No more centralized banks, more financial freedom. Crypotcurencies also eliminate middle men which means no more third party fees. honestly it gives people the opportunity to take back control of their own lives.
