Apr 5th Weekly Terracoin Update – Learn
When first taking part in cryptocurrencies many of us can remember how difficult it was to learn about the basics of the cryptoworld. To help new people join and understand how Terracoin and other cryptocurrencies work one of our newest team members, Fetticakes, has started a video series called TRC Talk!
In this series she will explain the essentials of Terracoin and cryptocurrencies, and with that we are excited to release her first video! It covers some of the standard vocabulary used in the cryptoworld and will be helpful to people new to the community!

You may notice a link to our Wiki on the Youtube video. It is still a work in progress, and if anyone would like to help please PM me. It is a lot of work, but it needs to be done. It works in tandem with the videos and new website we are working on. You get the general idea from both of those sources but if you really want to dig into the info the wiki will be the ultimate info source. Once the English version of the wiki is done we are going to let the translators get to work so that we can have the info available for everyone around the world!
Next on the list of community outreach is that we have posted a new ANN on BetweenBlocks (https://betweenblocks.org/topic/58/ann-trc-terracoin-established-2012-decentralized-governance-masternodes-helping-the-world-fair-launch). This a new awesome forum site and will help us reach new people and help keep everyone informed on the status of TRC. Check it out and vote on our thread! (It is the tiny button in the bottom right hand corner of the OP).
As requested I have also started posting these weekly updates on Steemit (https://steemit.com/@clockuniverse). It only has last weeks so if you want a longer history check out Medium (https://medium.com/@clockuniverse/). Any profits from Steemit will be donated to the Terracoin Foundation Donation Masternodes.

You may notice the extra 80,000 TRC in the TRC balance. This is TRC that was donated and set aside to be donated once TRC hits $1 USD. I am going to be putting in a proposal asking the masternode network if it is ok if I turn that 80,000 TRC into Terracoin Foundation Donation Masternodes. Keep an eye out for a very detailed proposal soon!

If you have been around the TRC forums for any amount of time you will know Johnwhitestar. He has been a passionate community member since around the time The Terracoin Foundation took over TRC. He has been hard at work on a project called Terracoin Helps the World (https://terracoinhelpstheworld.com/). This is all financed by his own personal TRC so check it out and try to help If you can!
