I don't think it will ever replace real money. I think it would be better to focus on proven use cases: it's good for gambling, drugs, rewarding gamers and bloggers and cam whores. But you are never going to buy your gasoline with crypto. The guy who sells me groceries wont take it because you have to cash it out right away (for real money) because it could lose 10 percent of its value in an hour. It's not going away but mass adoption isn't coming either
