The attitude towards crypto from the outside, is pretty sceptical without the scams and fodder that tags along. I think the industry needs to do all it can to stop the spread of the chancers and undesirables who are just looking to bend the rules, break the rules or, at the very least, take peoples money with some form of mutual benefit.
The way I see it is that we are in one huge battle to gain the trust of the general public. One that so far, imo, we are losing.

Scammers come into life daily via email or hoax phone calls, problem is weeding out the bad from the good ones, even doing extensive research one could be caught, as in the case of USI-Tech many long standing traders also got burned by that one.
Small crypto is fun to work with and learn the ropes, I stick mainly with steem and superior coin, perhaps being driven and working more with like minded people one feels a bit safer.
At the end of the day the small/big crypto is very young in implementation. With time technology will change along with the digital age.
