in this case I reckon no. The trajectory of Steem looks like the price will rise faster. And nowadays everyone has heard of crypto's. In the time Bitcoin launched it didn't exist.
There is that benefit.
However, BitCoin has a limited supply. I do not think STEEM is limited.
Circulating Supply : 238,114,186 STEEM vs 16,474,587 BTC
That's one problem with STEEM.
