My Crapto Crypto Diary Day 1

As I venture forth on this journey that I'm sure will be colorful, bumpy, inglorious, and hopefully completely rewarding, please do feel free to join me, chip in, and generally share with the insanity.
I am, I guess, a 'noob' in many ways. Even in using Steem. I doubt if I've even got this right, but hey ho :)

In the day or so I've been looking into cryptocurrency, I've discovered-

Faucets
Bitcoin itself (don't have any, just been reading up on it)
The insane number of altcoins out there.
I've received free coins from strange places such as Coinstarter, JSE, Swiftdemand...and I'd be telling untruths if I had any idea what it all actually means :)
I've been tracking ICOs. Admittedly, this was only after I had to google to work out what an ICO was...
and also a program called Telegram.

I am now dealing with information overload :) I am, perhaps, not your typical trader/investor/computer kind of guy. Though I'm not terribly sure what the typical any of those would actually be.

Learning about all this, or more to the point, failing to learn, learning a bit, then discovering a million more questions...has been interesting!

I will continue this journey and hopefully learn a lot more over the next few days and weeks.

I also need to work on my Steemit skills. No idea how to add a picture here, or even on my profile...

Anyway, I hope I can eventually add something of interest for you guys, and I look forward to meeting everyone soon :)
