i dont have my stuff linked to a bank account but i have heard people talk about coinbase. Maybe you can find someone that will sell for fiat.

Cheers. Yeah, a bit frustrating. It's not necessarily the fault of the Japanese, more the intricacies of how western names are rendered. I have a feeling that all this time my name has been back to front at the bank... :) May try to go to the bank on Monday if it's not sorted.
