Bitcoin Adoption

To date, the number of bitcoin users has doubled each year. This is the exact same pattern that occurred with internet adoption. However, it is speculated that crypto adoption could break this pattern, and accelerate even quicker, given that crypto requires much less physical infrastructure.

If the barrier for entry for internet adoption was infrastructure, then for crypto, the barrier seems to be "trust." Anecdotally, I seem more people willing to buy crypto as the years go on. Just like you are more likely to buy "Tide" detergent than "XRA," new entrants into crypto are more willing to buy bitcoin than any other coin.
