Dogecoin created based on LTC in 2013 for young people to love crypto and coins. It started as a lovely project that young people were able to send lots of Dogecoin with each other. As LTC, it has Proof of Work logic and it is using Script Algorithm. We can say, as you understand from its symbol, it is just a fun coin but has lots of people has invested on dogecoin.
Total market cap is 542.444.771 USD and circulating supply is 113.474.810.483 Doge and there is no total supply, as long as it mining is process, new dogecoins continue to be made. It’s been exchanging in at least 100 Crypto exchanges now.
The Doge in its logo really means a dog from a phenomenon meme in the internet in 2000s.
