If you truly wanted what was best for Bitcoin and the Bitcoin community, you would SFU about your stupid shitcoin and get behind Segwit2x.

Even if it does split Bitcoin will have sigwit and what ever is left over will be just another alt coin.
Exactly and I think people will just dump their new BTC Cash (I would anyway). Maybe an attempt to split and massive fail would actually be a good thing.

Mining is dead, specifically because of situations such as these. They'll make their quick bucks in the short-run then fade into obscurity. Either way, take advantage of the situation and buy up more BTC at a reduced price.
Interesting point about mining being dead, as I've been wondering how long that would be viable. Is it just BTC mining that is dead? Or do you see mining of all coins as being really short lived?
All altcoins. You'll notice that the new big players such as EOS and IOTA don't bother with mining at all while Ethereum has plans to ditch mining by the beginning of next year.
