I have never really trusted Poloniex as an exchange and the recent news of them being hackable + the recent change to their terms of service are just 2 more reasons others shouldn't trust them as well.

If you don't hold it, you don't own it and this is especially true if you hold your cryptos on the Poloniex exchange...
