Paper Bitcoin incoming? ICE/Bakkt trojan horse?

The thought of Starbucks and Microsoft taking Bitcoin mainstream had folks smiling this week. I'm a big fan of Laura Shin's cryptopodcast, "Unconfirmed: Insights and Analysis". You need to listen to her latest episode to get a good take on the ICE/Bakkt news. They plan on creating fractional bitcoin reserves and will hand out "paper bitcoin". After listening the podcast my first though was, Is Wall Street going to take this new system and remake it into the old system?
