Who's this 'Mysterious Bitcoin Whale'?
Who is this guy? A manipulator or just another whale, or a financial institution?
According to BitInfoCharts, a mysterious man with a bitcoin address of 3Cbq7aT1tY8kMxWLbitaG7yT6bPbKChq64 had received about 41,293 BTC between February 8 and 12, 2018. Bitcoin price plummeted during the time.
The average price was around $8,200(USD) per coin and the total amount of the BTC was $340 million if we think they were all purchases.
She/he has been receiving bitcoins with the address since September 8, 2017.
As of today, the total balance of the address is 96,650.83 BTC, which is equivalent of $979,185,750.
It is also probable that he/she might had just moved them to the address above from his/her other wallet addresses. Or she/he might had purchased them or done both ways.
I don't know who this guy is. Up to now, the guy doesn't seem like playing with prices like pumping and dumping. He/she has been mostly saving bitcoins to the address, not frequently sending coins to others.
She/he could be a true believer or another bitcoin anarchist who does not want the collapse of bitcoin.
