Monero will launch new protocol to redefine management of digital assets
One of the most recent projects of the team behind the development of Monero proposes the creation of a protocol focused on redefining the programming, transaction and management of digital assets.
The new protocol, known as 'Tari', will be supported by an open source code in Blockchain and will be sponsored by companies and startups Redpoint, Trinity Ventures, Canaan Partners, Pantera and Multicoin Capital. As well as by the main developers Riccardo Spagni, leader in maintenance of the cryptocurrency; Naveen Jain, entrepreneur of the entertainment sector; and Dan Teree, co-founder of Ticketfly.
In addition, the developers intend to issue non-fungible items such as loyalty points, game elements and concert tickets in the block chain, which can be traded with their token, which is very similar to the Ethereum ERC-721 tokens, which they will allow users to become owners of digital assets.
According to the developer Naveen Jain:
The Tari protocol will fundamentally change the way we interact with digital assets. [...] We are building an incredible team to manage the most useful decentralized platform that exists, allowing anyone to issue, manage, use and transfer their digital assets.
Following the objective of the initiative, a use case would be to allow users to participate in the secondary market for resale of digital assets.
Jain also said that this approach is unique in the present market, and stated that "we do not want to make many statements in the future, we just want to demonstrate our worth along the way and we believe it is an excellent way to build trust and build our community", concluded.
According to the co-founders, Tari will attend only one use case, because in many cases, projects that cover multiple use cases do not tend to be successful.
