The local media 368.media public a report this May 22 that would accuse police employees. The police employees of the local headquarters of the national police of Rivne, Ukraine would have stolen electricity. All this in order to undermine different cryptocurrencies from work without anyone knowing.

According to the report, employees of the communications department of the local police are accused of stealing electricity. The employees were not identified but they would be stealing electricity at work for illegal mining for 4 months. 368.media is still unclear about the amount of electricity that would have been stolen during all this time. Similarly, there is no clear knowledge about which cryptocurrencies were undermining their jobs.

Employees of the internal security department of the national police found crypt mining equipment in April. A large number of really important equipment used in the office of the communications department would have been confiscated. In them it was possible to confiscate a total of 8 video cards, 6 units of energy supply. Likewise, two hard drives, a motherboard and a complete computer system unit were also seized.

Currently, cryptocurrency mining is completely legal in Ukraine and legal and regulatory status will soon be decided. All this, under a draft Law of the Ukrainian Parliament published last week. However, the head of the National Commission of securities and shares of Ukraine showed his position in front of crypts. On this occasion he said that he was considering recognizing the crypts as part of the country's financial instrument, achieving a breakthrough.
