RE: One BIG Thing: EOS Crash/3 ICOs to Watch/ Failure/ Ep. 17

in #bitcoin6 years ago

Development wise, EOS and the block producers are on a honeymoon. It's all love and rainbows, it's easy to get along. Once the luaus stop, and the champagne bottles are recycled, reality will set in. Think of all the times you had to do a group project in school. At first, most are all on the same page, and agree to certain responsibilities. Yet, we all know how those group projects turn out. Decent and arguments inevitably arise, and things don't come together in a kumbaya moment as they had been planned. This is where EOS is interesting. If this blockchain turns out like a group project, then it will be a success. Rivalries and competition will naturally arise, pushing aside any fears of cartel operating in closed doors to the way side. So the way I see it, if you like the idea of group projects, EOS is not for you, if you despise group projects like me, the game theory could get mighty interesting. Just my two satoshis.

Briere,

that's a very good point. The honeymoon stage makes it hard to see the forest for the trees... We'll see how it all shakes out.
