Buying Poloniex from Circle (Goldman Sachs) is the beginning or crypto revolution.
I believe that we're going to see more similar deals this year.
I consider 2017 was the year of innovation in Crypto world, but I consider 2018 is the year of deals and regulations.

Not sure what to make of this - is Goldman Sachs indirectly admitting the validity of cryptocurrency, or attempting to usurp its power from the "inside"? Only time will tell...
The acquisition of Poloniex demonstrates the high interest of financial institutions in the crypto asset class. Not all investments have to be in the assets themselves but in the platforms, technologies and teams. All will lead to increased adoption which will increase the value realization of these assets.
The most profitable companies during the gold rush? The ones selling shovels.
