What you are saying is that ripple is pre-mined. Reminds me of another coin that has been pre-mined and many think to be a scam!
Lot of bad things happening with the Slack messages and posts. I've seen multiple companies stop using Slack as a form communication with their community prior to ICO's because of the massive amount of fraud/spam/etc.
A couple people have started to recommend other messaging/communication platforms to use instead of Slack, especially before an ICO, because so many people are falling for message scams and such.
