From time to time there is an interesting article that is not biased against Bitcoin.

The article is not perfect, but it shows the reality of the why of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies when government/central bank mess up with fiat currencies.

To keep it short, it is a neo-classic economist argumentation, first paragraph is just a poor presentation of bitcoin, the second paragraph just says that bitcoin is a simulation of gold, the third one talks about the classic issue with deflation and the problem of the bitcoin aristocracy with the funny argument at the end that we need a Bitcoin Central Bank. He finishes with there can be no de-politicised currency capable of ‘powering’ an advanced, industrial society.
I think that on the medium and long term Bitcoin will not be the main cryptocurrency, but I strongly believe that we can have one or few cryptocurrencies able to power our society to the next level.
