After various establishments across the world, schools too are in the race to embrace cryptocurrency. Two private preschools in New York City now accept bitcoin for tuition payments, according to Marco Ciocco, their co-founder.

These preschools, based in Manhattan, began accepting bitcoin and ether in June as a part of integrating and supporting the global movement. Marco also added that this way they could be ahead of other schools in showcasing their belief in life changing technologies after requests coming from a lot of parents to accept bitcoin.

Tuition fee can range anywhere between 10-15 BTC annually according to current bitcoin prices. In any case, this official announcement would come as a big relief for crypto rich people who Marco also referred to as early adopters. Promoting digital assets is not only a great support for the ever growing community but also sends across a message to governments.

Earlier this month, a restaurant in Bengaluru, India also announced their acceptance of payments in bitcoin. This clearly shows major support not only in prime economies but in growing economies as well.
"As a forward-thinking administration, we like to stay ahead of the curve and would not be surprised if the percentage of tuition paid in digital currencies continues to grow every year and becomes a substantial portion of our payments," said Marco.
