Bitcoin loses steam after the SEC denies the Winklevoss ETF application.

• Bitcoin reversed its rally after the SEC denied an application by the Winklevoss twins that would have allowed trading of the first bitcoin ETF.
• The cryptocurrency dropped to a low of $7,798.70 Friday morning, about 6 percent below where it was trading before the news.
• Earlier this week, bitcoin broke above $8,300 and hit a two-month high after rumors that another ETF could be approve in August.
