I don't know how were things in that november 2017 though, btc prize is much bigger than the rest so, when its price increases, makes the difference.
A side this, what I've been seeing these last 2 weeks, most of the time btc is the leader, what btc does, the rest aswell.
usually when BTC starts a rally up, the rest the altcoins go down, many traders want to join the btc wave and then once is up sell back into altcoins.
Buy cheap btc sell high into a low altcoin: doble profit

It is not a bad time but a good time, just keep dollar cost averaging when you are buying.. it is a great time to put what you can afford in to crypto each week right now.. it's a buyers market..
