Swiss Bank Swissquote has increased its income by 44% after logging in to the stock market
In the first half of 2018, after entering the crypto-currency market, the largest Swiss online Bank Swissquote received 43.9% more profit than in the same period last year.
For the six months of 2018, the Bank's net profit amounted to 25.7 million Swiss francs. Last year, this figure was equal to 17.9 million Swiss francs.
Another important event for the Bank was an increase in customer assets by 20.6% to 25.5 billion Swiss francs, and the net inflow of new cash investments increased by 60%. In addition, the total number of customer accounts increased by 6.3% during this period.
However, the Bank's analysts predict a decline in indicators in the second half of the year due to the General situation on the cryptocurrency market.
Recall that in the past year, Swissquote has offered customers to use their accounts to exchange euros and US dollars to bitcoins. The institution became one of the first banks to announce the start of trading in cryptocurrency.
In December, Swissquote added support for Ethereum (ETH), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Litecoin (LTC) and Ripple (XRP).
Unlike other similar platforms, the Swiss Bank adheres to a conservative approach to risk management, and therefore does not provide customers with the opportunity to trade "with the shoulder".
