I belive yes. I have been watching this for some time now eversince the Bitfinex crisis started. Since CoinDesk draws BTC value using Bitfinex, it looks like with the crisis, Poloniex is a few minutes ahead on what market is telling. One can buy and sell in that gap I believe.
I noticed that also, prices are always different at each exchanger. Can one make profit from a situation like this?
Yes, It's called arbitrage. Buy on one exchange at the lower price and sell it on the other at a higher price.

Isn't it weird? I believe Bitfinex insolvency may have something to do with it. What do you think?
