Coinbase Lists Zcash (ZEC)

Coinbase has listed Zcash (ZEC) on its exchange yesterday. Buying, selling, sending, receiving and storing of ZEC can now be done via Coinbase.

Coinbase supports incoming transparent and shielded transactions, but only supports transparent addresses for outgoing transactions. However, they are exploring enabling shielded sending where in compliance with local laws.

Due to regulatory restrictions ZEC is not available for those in the United Kingdom or in New York state.
