011 - The Vitalik Buterin Conspiracy

Cryptocurrency is all over the news and the first name that appears in our mind as and when we hear crypto is Bitcoin and Ethereum. Especially Ethereum because a few months back Ethereum as it's the second most major cryptocurrency and the most popular one after Bitcoin. Ethereum price went mooning a few months back and it still holds a major potential to be scaled up and used world wide in major smart contracts applications.

We all know about Ethereum's popularity and market capitalisation and dominance. Now let's spread some light on its founder and creator, Mr. Vitalik Buterin. Ethereum was proposed by Buterin in 2013. Mr. Buterin is a 23 years old cryptocurrency programmer and researcher. In July-August 2014, Ethereum project had received massive response in it's crowd funding and system went live on July 2015.

Within 6 months, project received a positve response by investors and traders also Ethereum price shoot up after that until last month. I am sure it's only a temporary setback and it'll get over soon enough.
But there was a news highlight a month back which actually became a reason of a major loss to Ethereum investors of about $4 Billion and it isn't a small amount of money to lose in a single day on a single Cryptocurrency.

The news which led to this disaster was Mr. Vitalik Buterin's Death in an accident.

The Conspiracy Behind Vitalik Buterin's Death Hoax Or Does It Hide Something We Couldn't See?

So, a news flashed on Social media on 25th June and all of a sudden the Ethereum Price which was mooning right then, fell on the ground, giving almost $4 Billion loss to the Ethereum investor and traders. The news was, Vitalik was confirmed dead in a fatal car accident. And the people who read this news immediately headed over to their exchange and sold all the Ethereum in their account. That's why Ethereum market suffered a huge loss.

But was that news true? By looks of Vitalik Buterin as of now, I am sure it was just a hoax but some people believed that it was a pre-planned conspiracy to strike the market to the ground. To prove that news a hoax, Vitalik himself went live on social media and posted a picture on twitter along with a status proving that he was alive and well. But this incident definitely highlighted a fact that the cryptocurrency market depends on news and hoaxes rather than fundamentals of the project in a similar fashion to traditional markets.

Now, some people also believe that there were some secret societies which worked with Buterin to spread that hoax. Because as a creator and founder of Ethereum, Butrein knew all the weaknesses of cryptocurrencies and how they react to this kind of news. May be these secret societies had something to gain with that hoax and they did achieve their goal successfully. Just after that news, Ethereum price fell enormously and some new people or should I say some 'Secret' societies may have got benefit from that event by buying low because Ethereum again rose at a higher level the very next day.

Some people also believe or even had some proof that there exists a connection of Vitalik with Satanic Cults because as per their beliefs, Vitalik really got heavily injured in that car accident and because of his engagement in cults, he got healed.

This actually sounds weird if it's a true fact. Some hoaxes and some realities. But one thing is sure that Cryptocurrency market is a news driven market and there are a lot conspiracies at work. You would never know the conspiracy you're a part of until it got revealed and after the damage has been done.

So be cautious while dealing in cryptocurrencies and take decisions wisely.

Some people did not get ETH after August 2014 ICO. The company that issued the ICO is in bankruptcy..

This just shows the issue with projects that depend so much on a single individual. This is what worries me about EOS. If something was to happen to these individuals, the projects could die quickly but even hoaxes cause massive price moves.

just look in those eyes! Looks like a soulless evil being :D just kidding. He should just change his diet and do some proper sport activity to look healthier.

Agree with the assessment, very weird picture.

In Russia doctors recommend 10 redbulls a day.

Don't ask me why. And no.. im TOTALLY not making this up.

Nothing like watching a bunch of riverboat gamblers panic.

Interesting post about the conspiracy theory. Hmmm..

News and media spread hoaxes all over the time for selling interests or just because they are aligned with one specific market or company.

Financial markets have been "living" with that since they were created. It is just the volatility in crypto that makes those movements wider as there is a smaller market cap compared with stock, futures or forex markets.
