Bittrex is asking me questions that I don't understand!! Logged in okay, but don't understand the next steps.

Anyone with a Bittrex account please jump in!
First I opened a coinbase account to buy BC so I could go somewhere else to buy other stuff.

It's asking: Account type: and if I want to upgrade to "Basic" ???
(I want to buy Bitcoin and then get other coins, which one should I pick)

Digital Token Trading
Fiat Trading
Margin Trading
Daily Withdrawal Limit

Second it's asking about enhanced verification and two-factor verification and API keys?
AND IP whitelist and withdrawal whitelist
I think I like that Nano S thumb to eventually move my stuff to (subject of another article) for a long term plan.
Can I set up my credit card to make purchases in Bittrex? or just transfer my BC from coinbase over (cross that bridge when I get to it)
And yes after a week of freakin' headaches already I hate Coinbase and plan to switch to something else!
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I found it easier if i just signed up for basic and just transferred some bitcoin to Bittrex, you can always upgrade later to advanced if you want and since you have coinbase just buy bitcoin in your coinbase account, also make sure you send your bitcoin to the correct wallet address in bittrex which would be the bitcoin one. I signed up for 2-factor verification you will need to add the authenticator on your mobile phone and enter the key to activate it, just make sure you backup the key just in case you lose it. And thats it!! let me know if you need any more help.

That's exactly what I needed! Thanks so much for taking the time to help me!

This is a pretty solid response from @xredsoulless. I use Bittrex myself, honestly the usability and user interface are not the best, but I have never had a problem with transactions or withdrawls, and that is most important for me. Depending on what your needs are there are alternatives to exchanges. If you are just looking to buy and hold rather than day trade you may be interested in services like
Blocktrades.us
Changelly
shapeshift.io
You mentioned getting a ledger nano s, I hope my comment on your other question helps. There is also KeepKey which has shapeshift built in, but one thing at a time...lol. I use blocktrades to convert Steem Dollars into BTC.

thanks so much for taking the time with a beginner, just read another post on how bad coinbase is. I will now check the service sites you recommend, what I'm thinking is just buy and hold most and trade (for fun and profit?) separately

No problem. Yeah definitely check them out, I really like using those services for convenience. It is fun to trade on an exchange but If I am just trying to save, say convert Steem Dollars to BTC for holding it is much easier for me to use something like blocktades.us. Do your own research and find what works best for you. I have heard good things about Changelly but haven't used it yet myself.

Heck if I know. I couldn't even understand anything you wrote lol
