Uncertain future of the cryptocurrency market(discussion)

This week has been a blast in the crypto currency market, Market cap doubling its size and replacement of top 10 list. I participated in the Chinese blockchain meeting yesterday and I talked to one of the staffs from the btc media. He was certain that bitcoin was the only cryptocurrency that he thinks is optimistic. As an investor investing mostly on the alt coin market, I was curious about what you guys thought about the future of the market is.

It seems like the market is settling down from the huge impact they had this week. I want to discuss with people with more experience whether or not the market cap is going to continue to grow or collapse due to the huge bubble.
