FYI, from the recent episodes for Steem HF19 and ethereum congestion that has many crypto exchanges freezing their transfers and wallets, please be aware that this can also happen.
If bitcoin wallets are affected and the exchanges act to disable bitcoin wallets, note that the entire family of alt-coins will also be crippled as most have only BTC pairs to trade. Which means that in the worst case scenario, if things dont go smoothly, we are going to see a period of extreme swings in prices of all coins. Some exchanges may potentially fail and cause a ripple effect.
So lets watch the progress carefully and keep most of your funds outside of the exchanges for safety
