#77 - After one year of this

Hey everyone!

Been some time since I was active on this platform. In short, Twitter and YouTube is where you can easily reach me at and ask your questions regarding trading setups whilst Steemit will become a place for weekly posts reflecting my journey and areas where I see room for improvement.

After one year at staring obsessively over charts, playing around with them and getting some trades in, I was able to find that I find myself in the market way too often. That impulsive emotion you find yourself attracted to when hearing about someone else's successes (on Twitter for example). Then you begin comparing yourself to someone else when you should compare yourself to whom you were yesterday. Downward spiral from here really..

Then the other challenge is to come to grips with the fact that trading is a game of probabilities. It does not aim to predict the future correctly. So whenever you need to be right when in the market, recall that it does not owe you anything. If you are worrying about the outcome of the trade, checking it every free hour you have, you are probably over-exposed.

Boring is the new exciting

If you are reading this, you are probably not someone who relies fully on trading for a living; you merely regard it as a hobby, perhaps one you take seriously. So that is the way it should be taken: something to do on the side, an extra source of income that like any other one, also carries risk.

The goal is to move slow and play on the compound effect of thoughtful and patient decisions.
