RE: Bitcoin (BTC) Evening Update: The White Support Line Needs to Hold
@scarlet7 can you explain a little further when you say the Hard Fork already happened ? I assume you mean Bitcoin Gold ? when did it fork ? or do you refer to the premined coins ? thanks
It forked last night at about 8pm cst, at block 491407. It was 2 days ahead of schedule, no doubt due to miners speeding it up. If you were wondering why everyone sold off all the sudden, here's why....
Well shit, some asshole flagged me so I cant post pictures

Agree. I don't see Bitcoin Gold listed on Bittrex or anything on Cryptocompare. BTG site is down (403 error). I can see some pre launch over coinmarketcap estimating price around 400USD...
Bitfinex already has all of them listed: BG2 (Bitcoin Gold) = $134
Those are not the forks. Check the announcements. Those are called CTS and are a special kind of ticker
As I understood, all forks have happened 8 hours ago.

The block depth for Bitcoin Gold fork was reached. That's all we know... oh... and BitGem is trading on Cryptopia with the BTG ticker. I think Bitcoin Gold was not ready for that block to be mined "so soon". In any case, that blocks snapshot would be used, which I think is the point @scarlet7 was trying to make.
