NEWS:
Bitcoin continues to be watched as the Bitcoin ETF news looms... See below for more details.

I continue to watch LiteCoin all week again, and esp. now because the SegWit issues are underway, since Feb 3rd. for possible implementation and that is likely going to affect value --- The slow and steady rise of the miners signalling support still around ~21% for SegWit daily with blocks signaling in the past 24 hours! (as time of writing this)
DASH stayed up around recent highs this week and at TOW this article is still trading at a recent high of ~ $37 or so --- most of the last few months it hovered around the ~$11 -$17 mark as we know. It started to climb big time in the last ~20 days ago and has turned a lot of heads. If you look at the charts -- it seems to have found a new bottom the last 5 days around the $34 mark and dips/bumps still have it usually around that $35-37 mark a lot of the time as of late.
Ethereum and Eth. Classic have been climbing and as of late, hitting new gradual highs this last week and $ETH is being implemented into a ton of projects boosting the visibility and usability cases for the currency. ETC policy, coin limits and updates have also been updated the last few days.
The Winklevoss Twins boosted their investment a few weeks ago in their Bitcoin ETF everyone is watching (which is set to come up for final review and pass/fail in the US by the SEC on or before March 13th- Date shifted by the ever vigilant gov't agencies who did not know the 11th was on a weekend the last few months LOL) -Everyone is talking about this and watching it...... Bitcoin has stayed high and took a dip last nite and some today and most feel it is because of this. Watch the news on this develop daily and esp. on the 4th to the 13th!!
Your thoughts on these and other things???
Here's the latest of my LiteCoin blog posts in that series connecting people to those facts/news going on with LTC. LiteCoin continues to just hold it's value / be a good store of value, be "boring", stable, reliable, and fast on the blockchain, the usual.
I am really enjoying doing this series long term, seeing the feedback and questions. I love it (:
COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT!!!
There are a lot of good people on here who know what they are doing and we can build a solid resource here a couple times a week with all the community and you can check in here on my page a couple times a week and see the latest.
People can ask questions, share their wisdom and failures, and my hope is simple really :
If you feel my posts are undervalued or you want to donate to tip me - I would appreciate it very much.

I am getting rid of the last 70 of my bitcions that I made while mining years ago. Bitcion is now the Western Union of Crypto - They charge 60.00 to sent 500.00 as of 10 years ago. Not sure now. Bitcoin won't arrive reliably without at least a 0.02 ($20.00) fee attached. I have been selling coins for many years and lately find myself sitting at a coffee shop for hours waiting for that first confirmation. Embarrassing.
I thought about ltc but had tried it in 2011 and had an overnight wait to receive a me2me transfer. So ltc is out.
I retired early over three years ago on my mining gains. Now, I can retire a second me on the bitcoin that I transferred to Dash in early December. I need a stable place to put the rest.
Great input all around, thanks very much for that!!!
Solidly long on bullion & Canadian junior miners
Great input, thanks for commenting today!!!
Interesting read.
What are your thoughts on steem, monero and zcash? I really don't know what to make of the latter two.
This is the breakout year for Crypto. There is an awakening going on and that involves privacy being stolen daily from the masses.
Those 2 and some others address that at least on a partial scale.
I'm of the opnion there is no perfect coin.... but depending on your needs, some are better suited than others.

Still not trading for the time being, although I'm keeping an eye on the markets. Sometimes I think I'm better off just following a few instead of trying to second guess trends, which can get very confusing. I'm seriously considering buying some Steem, if I do hop back in the action. We'll see....
Thanks for the update, @barrydutton!
I know you are hard at work learning everything Deb!
Trends come coupled with so many things in the way of charts, analysis, reading and listening to things and feedback on public forums, etc.
It can be overwhelming and exhausting, I know. You are doing great.
