Bitcoin Cash team is trying to trick you
As you know guys, Electrum is one of the most used wallets in the Bitcoin Core community , and the Bitcoin Cash team took advantage of this, so they created a very similar wallet, and they call it :
Electrumon Cash
And this action, made Electrum team a little bit angry and they state :
The name "Electrum" has been visible on bitcoincash.org and electrumcash.org, with a modified version of our logo. The use of our name and logo constitutes a trademark infringement.

So be aware guys, whether you are using Electrum or Electron Cash wallet .
All of this Bitcoin Cash thing smells fishy to me. I also don't trust sending out Private Keys (I know there are workarounds). Something is rubbing me the wrong way and it might be some sort of fraud.
Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash are using the same blockchain, so they are legit (Something like Ethereum and Ethereum Classic), but they are trying to mislead people to invest in Bitcoin Cash.
Oh, for sure it's "legit" in the same way all sorts of clone coins are legit copies of bitcoin - but as you said, there is no guarantee of continued value.
