Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency Basics for Professionals Considering Investing!

in #bitcoin6 years ago

What is Bitcoin? What are cryptocurrencies? Where can professionals start learning the basics? When is the best time to start investing? We hope to answer these questions and more during this interview between Bonnie Flom with Billing Buddies and Jerry Banfield, cryptocurrency investor. With Bonnie being in the medical billing field where she is surrounded by doctors interested in the best investing opportunities, Bonnie created the follow questions which we answer to help educate all of us about Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies!

  1. What is a Cryptocurrency?
  2. What is Bitcoin?
  3. What can I do with Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency?
  4. Why would I want to get involved in investing in
    them?
  5. How do you know if you can trust investing in them?
  6. Where do I get started or purchase them?
  7. Any other tips or tricks?

In summary, Bitcoin was the first cryptocurrency with now hundreds more existing as seen at http://www.coincap.io/.

Cryptocurrencies are a new form of money issued and managed by users on publicly accessible blockchains based on cryptographic hashes which allow for securely accessing and transacting with a wallet and private key. Blockchains are a collection of data maintained by servers online which add all new transactions to a public ledger that anyone can review.

While the last several years have been the ideal time to invest in Bitcoin and many altcoins such as Ethereum and Litecoin, today is arguably the worst time to invest because prices on the top cryptocurrencies are higher than ever before. We know if we can trust our investments based on the communities developing and maintaining each cryptocurrency. Those cryptocurrencies with the best chance for mass adoption are an ideal investment for the long term as are those with extremely valuable niche contributions.

Steem is the one cryptocurrency that seems perfectly positioned to overtake Bitcoin because of the mass adoption potential, feeless transactions that are finished in 3 seconds, and built in blogging platform which provides the most generous rewards structure for those of us new to cryptocurrencies hoping to earn without investing. While Bitcoin may go up 10 more times in value within the next five years, Steem seems to have the potential to go up 10 times within the next few months and hundreds of times in the next 5 years.

Would you join us in learning more about Steem at http://steem.guide because this one post has everything we need to get started?
