Cryptocurrency Market Update February 23, 2018, Bitcoin Drops Below 10K$
Data from CoinMarketCap on Friday (23/2/2018) shows the virtual currency market weakening. It was seen from the 100 largest crypto currency based on market capitalization whose index was flushed on Thursday trading.
The bitcoin virtual currency also weakened 8 percent on Friday, due to the downward trend (bearish).
On Thursday, bitcoin fell 8 percent below 10,000 US dollars, precisely 9.958 US dollars.
The other highest weakness suffered Ripple (XRP) which fell 8.89 percent on Thursday. And on the same day Ripple announced five new payment partners.
Thus, the presence of good news about the virtual currency is not able to lift the trend of decline crypto currency.
The total value of crypto currency itself reached 445 billion US dollars, or down 15 percent compared to the highest close on February 18, 2018 at 519 billion US dollars.
