Why Bitcoin is Stupid ??

I've seen posts, I've been asked the question from friends with no investing experience if they should invest in Bitcoin. My answer has always been not unless you can afford to lose the money.

If you are considering it I strongly suggest you read all of this. If you think this article is too long and too much time to read, and still want to throw your money at something you don't understand then have at it. Just don't cry when the bottom falls out.

If you're taking advice from people that have made tons of money and can show fat stacks of cash from Bitcoin, but are literally clueless about actual investing.... well I feel bad for you.

The value of bitcoin is increasing exponentially, only because there are more people who are dumber than you to buy the coin at a higher price than you did, hoping there will be people even dumber than him to buy at an even higher price.

Investing in Bitcoin, may or may not let you earn more money.

This article is not about that.

It just acknowledges the simple truth, While blockchain is a potentially good technology, the increase in bitcoin value is only due to the virality of it, very similar to the gold rush of the previous era. If its just the technology that facinates you, there are plenty other options, the technology is open sourced.
