Check if Your Browser is affected by Cryptojacking?
Cryptocurrency has gained a lot of Traction in 2017 and it is still going up. People are getting into Cryptocurrencies as we speak. But whenever something like this gets such amount of Traction some Negative things are bound to emerge from it.
Yes, I am talking about CryptoJacking.
What is Cryptojacking?
Cryptojacking is the unauthorized use of someone else’s computer to Mine Cryptocurrency. Hackers do this by either getting the victim to click on a malicious link in an email that loads crypto mining code on the computer or by infecting a Website.
The newest trend in this Cryptojacking has been the Intrusion through Browsers. In this case, there are certain Websites that either have been affected by Malicious Code or the owner itself is running a Mining Algorithm in his/her Website.
So Opera Browser has recently come up with an Ad Blocker Plugin for their Browser that lets you know if you have been CryptoJacked. They are claiming that this is quite effective although I haven't tried it yet. Apparently, they are advertising it as an Adblocker with cryptocurrency mining protection.
It is quite clear that Cryptojacking Test/Ad Blocker was also designed as a way to promote usage of the Opera browser. So I will test it out for a Detailed Review later.

Great post! Cryptojacking has become a problem, and I have posted about it multiple times in the past. But I have found through some research that it is surprisingly difficult to block intrusive cryptocurrency mining, as there are many tricks they can use to hide it.
I hope Opera has done this well, and I am going to go over and try it out!

people has bad intention they have so many ways to do what they want... Cryptojacking is new in my ears but it really sounds scary really smart !
