New reports reveal that a public company has ventured into the mining industry in China. According to reports, a Hong Kong-based multinational crypto-asset investment company known as Diginex Limited has announced that it has transferred 51% stake of its cryptocurrency mining asset and high-performance computing (HPC) operation for a price of $60 million USD to a popular company in the alcoholic beverages distributing industry called Madison Group Holdings (HKG: 8057).

The report added that the memorandum of understanding between the duo revealed several synergies such as the leverage of the seller’s proprietary platform, Digiassets which will be used by individuals who transact in cryptocurrency to purchase expensive wines and other similar assets. Notwithstanding the position of the central Chinese government, it seems the people of the country are deeply involved with bitcoin and cryptocurrency in general.
