Bitcoin is still surging! Is cryptocurrency the future?
About a year ago i had attained about 32 cents worth of bitcoin. It has sat in my virtual wallet ever since. Today in just about a years time that. $0.32 is now worth almost $12.00. That is almost 4000% increase. That's an insane return. Most investers consider 10% and above to be a good return.
1 bitcoin at this moment is valued at around $14,900. When bitcoin was created its value was worth onlt a few dollars i believe. If you had invested just $100 back then you would be looking at a very big number in comparison.
I justread article in which bitcoin was projected to reach about $1,000,000 by 2020 and that was based off a model where the value of 1 bitcoins worth was $5,000 by the end of 2017. As mentioned above currently it's three times ahead of that projection currently. Bitcoin has had a few declines in value but overall it has been on a steady and steep rise.
I myself am still new and trying to learn more about cryptocurrency and how the blockchain works. It's definitely intriguing as a potential investment dream. Please share your knowledge and understanding with me. Is this too good to be true or are we looking at the opportunity of a lifetime?
It will be the new world currency. But it will be a currency remembering everything. You ever paid. And who goes against rules cant pay anymore.
I am trying to learn more about the pros and cons. It's definitely a little confusing but the more i research i think i am beginning to understand a little more. I am still amazed though by how much its value has gone up. I look forward to learning more!
