I wouldn't say more profitable to invest in alt coins over bitcoin because there seems to be more volatility with them (even though investing in bitcoin is pretty much akin to betting). It's the same as saying it's more profitable to buy a 1million dollar lotto ticket over a 100 dollar scratchie, even though the %ROI could be higher on the lotto ticket it is less likely to HAPPEN. Guess the answer is having a diverse portfolio!
