Hey! Asking for votes will not take you very far! Try to make a nice post. Describe yourself , put some nice pictures etc. And use the tag "introduceyourself" people will notice you and you will make new friends/followers and get some upvotes. It's hard at the beginning i know, but with some effort you will see the results!! Also for a better steemit experience use the partiko app on your mobile phone (thanks to @partiko ) app gives you points while you use it and you can exchange them for upvotes.
