Which Bitcoin Debit Card is best?

hqdefault (1).jpg

I'm looking at getting a Cryptocurrency debit card as an easier way to spend my crypto and avoid the high fees involved in converting to fiat.
This is my next step in becoming more financially free.

Does anyone have any experience with these cards?

I want one that obviously is able to be used at any point of sale, for use in Europe, specifically Ireland. (all cards should cover these is my thinking)
I also want one that's trustworthy, great customer service, ability to withdraw cash from an ATM and has as low a fee as possible.

So what cards are you all using?

I've been looking at Coinsbank and Wirex but heard the fees with Wirex are high enough as are with Xapo.

Hi there, I have a cryptopay debit card of which i wish I didn’t. Its quite convinient and inconvinient at the same time lol. Its really quick and easy to load up and the money is available for withdrawal emidiately. The fees are not that bad but i think they should be reduced so that the card can be used for everyday use. I live in Belfast so I was charged GBP 1.50 for the whole withdrawal. As its the only time i’ve ever used it i did not mind. But what I did mind is that prior to my withdrawal I had baught 18 ETC at $5 a peace. I trasfered $65 worth of that etc into btc and into GBP then i went and made my withdrawal. The next day those Etc were worth $23 a peace. I was kicking myself.

Yeah that's is pretty inconvenient but that's not that card that just bad timing!
But I though you load up the card with say bitcoin and then the card will know the conversion rate at the time of purchase and withdraw from the bitcoin balance.
Do you have to load it up with bitcoin then, convert that into say euros before you can spend it?
Because if so that's not what I want. I want to load up with bitcoin and pay for items in euros but it takes it from my bitcoin balance with the appropriate conversion rate

Yup deffinatly wrong timmimg innitialy I thought for me it was perfect timming because the price of bitcoin was at $2500 but i deffinatly should have only spent the bitcoin that I have and not remove it from another altcoin.
Anyway I understand what you mean, and no unfortuntly you have to first convert it into Euro from the cryptopay acc then load up your card in euros. So maybe what might be handy is having your mobile phone with you at alltimes and accesable to the internet so you can convery the bitcoins to euros only when you need to.

Thank you for your comments, yes I can see now the debit cards aren't quite what I was expecting, if you did as you said yes maybe it would work but that's a lot of messing about when you just want to pay for something.
Definitely something to think about and your comments have definitely helped thank you

I thought you made a comparison but it looks like you really asked that question. I'm waiting for replies, I want to have a debit card too.

Yes it does look like that, but yeah I really want to know the best from people that actually have them, some of the cards are pretty expensive especially if you get one and it doesn't suit!

Thanks for the advice

I heard XAPO card can be hacked due to its vulnarability

I'll cross that off my list so, not sure if it's xapo that is only available for the US
