Turkish buyer paid bitcoins to deliver grain from Russia

The Russian company Prime Shipping Foundation from Rostov-on-Don for the first time concluded a deal for the delivery of 3000 tons of wheat to the Turkish city of Samsun with payment in bitcoins. Futures for bitcoins from the CME Group were used to hedge the risks of the deal, reports Bloomberg.

The deal was conducted as early as December of last year, but the announcement was made after all the terms of the contract were fulfilled.

Information about the transaction was confirmed by the head of the company Ivan Vikulov.

Now the company Prime Shipping Foundation seeks to get a banking license in Gibraltar, where the legislative base for regulating block-projects will be formed.
