Digital fever: from mining on video cards, to heating systems that produce crypto-currencies

in #bitcoin8 years ago

The word "mining" has recently sounded fascinating for many representatives of the crypto industry and those who had not heard anything yesterday about bitcoin, Ethereum and other crypto-currencies. Media write about the shortage of video cards, and companies involved in the sale of professional mining equipment, can not process all incoming orders.

Therefore it is not surprising that new players appear on the market, capable of satisfying the rabid demand for mining devices.

This story started like this: I was studying in the ninth grade, a friend came up to me and told me about one interesting thing that you can "count" on computers and receive some coins. For some reason, the very presence of coins made me very happy, despite the fact that most of them were worthless. So I first met with mining. We spent a very long time looking for new and new coins that could be considered. We had thousands of pirates, we traded all kinds of game at the MintPal exchange and mined koin by tens, hundreds, thousands ...

My friend and I even asked our parents for a video card, but, naturally, they refused, although the payback at that time was about two weeks.

I was fortunate that I subscribed to many communities dedicated to crypto-currencies and created a separate tab in "VK" with the news, this gave me the opportunity to follow the latest information about the crypto industry.
