Water Pollution — A global concern

The statistics released by the World Health Organization (WHO) on July 13, 2019, estimates that over 2 billion people globally do not have access to clean water; While over 2 million people still, do not have access to clean drinking water.

This gives us even more reasons to be judicial with our water use. This can be achieved in several ways

1. Switching to renewable energy sources such as windmills and hydroelectricity.
2. Replacing cars and bikes for eco-friendly vehicles.
3. Saving water when possible.

Our planet has endured massive damage by human activities and there is a possibility that we may not be able to reverse the process. However, this has not discouraged companies from taking initiative towards a greener planet.

Small steps such as turning off the tap while brushing one’s teeth can save plenty of water in the long run. A leaky faucet can waste over 2,700 gallons of water in a day if it drips one drop per second.
