How To Complete Setup / Configure Bitcoin Antminer S1 and S3 Mining Devices to Start Mining Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency - How to Set Antminer S1 and S3. For those of you who have purchased Antminer S1 / S3, please know how to set the right to avoid errors. Or for those who plan to buy mining devices, an explanation of how the setting of Antminer S1 and S3 will certainly be useful as a reference later.

Preparation Mining with AntMiner S1 & S3

• Antminer S1 engine of course
• Minimum power supply 500watt ATX
• Internet LAN (if no line LAN, can use GSM modem router)
• Account in mining pool. example cex.io/ghash.io
• Write down the IP Address of your S1 antminer engine (located on the front sticker)
  
  

  How to Setup AntMiner S1 & S3

1. Cut a small wire, about 1, 5 cm, bend it until the letter "U"
2. Then connect the "Green" and "Black" color cables anywhere with the wire to your PSU connector (see picture, click to enlarge)
   
3. If you want to be safe. isolation, or duct tape of the connected location.
4. Install the 6 x PSU pcie connector into the antminer slot. and Ethernet (LAN) cables to their respective places.
   
5. Make sure the Pc or laptop will be in use for the settings are in 1 network with antminer
6. Put the chocolate psu and turn it on ((the lights on the machine will turn on, but the fan has not spun)
7. If the fan is not rotating or visible. move as if stuck, leave it alone, wait until the fan spins for a while.
8. Check the IP address of your pc / laptop by clicking "start" => dikolom search type CMD => enter or if in win xp. start => run => CMD
9. Will pop up cmd, and type. ipconfig then enter. Your ip will be visible.
   
10. Make sure you get an IP address in the range 192.168.1.xxx (xxx this letter can be any)
11. If you have not got IP in that range: it means to change its ip address:
    How:
    click start => control panel => Network and internet => view network status => change adapter settings => local area connection => right click => properties => click internet protocol version 4 (TCP / IP v4)
    
12. You can check the fields above except the default gateway. make sure the same as your default gateway earlier. click ok
13. Check again your IP address as in step no 7.8.9
14. Now login to your dashboard miner, open browser / firefox / mozilla / IE / whatever
15. In addres bar type addres your machine then enter
16. Username machine = root password = root please login
17. In the "Status" menu select "miner configuration"
18. Then the contents of your data mining pool data in pool no 2 can be filled in your account in another pool as a back up.
19. pool no 3 account you in other pool as well, but if just want to mining in 1 pool only, no problem. empty pool 2 and 3 (This will not change our mining revenue) then click "Save & Apply".
    
20. Click the "Network" menu highlight "WAN" click "edit"
21. Fill in the data according to your data.
    -Protocol. select a static address
    -IPv4 your IP address miner
    -IP netmask fill in the picture
    -IPv4 Gateway .. your gateway.
    -Broadcast and DNS fill in like images:
    
22. When finished click "Save & Apply".
23. If there is no problem. in a few minutes you will hear your engine fan will spin faster and more noisy, this sign has started mining.
24. Congratulations you have successfully set your machine.
25. See your mining status in "Status" => "Miner status" or if in mining pool eg cex io in the menu bar, topmost, right. click ghash io = Worker.
26. If within a few minutes your machine is not mining. make sure the above steps are correct. Your settings are correct, then choose menu "System" => click "Reboot"
27. Wait a few moments until your system comes back to life. Your miner is alive.
