Of course, the live stream started a little late just to build up a more passion within those in the chat, you can imagine the comments being made. I jumped onto the live stream from the Awakenment channel to witness the group trying to sort out telegram links, member counts so I got to see some action before the EOS GO stream started. It was great to see Thomas Cox in the group.
There were over 2000 watching live which is lower than I was expecting, not that it matters, just an observation.
The Meeting
The first 30 minutes were spent making sure that all members that were expected at the meeting were accounted for and if not where chased via which means people had. I am slightly baffled as to why any serious block producer candidate would not be bang on time for a meeting this important. Some block producers also wanted to hide what their votes were going to be but did not give reasons, this is a very strange request and was fortunately dismissed by the overall team.
01:30 UTC - Quorum reached
The first point of discussion was regarding 1.0.2 and to confirm that the genesis block is ready for dissemination to all block producers. This was simply to decide where to drop the information so that a central place could be agreed.

Alex from @eos-cananda stepped up (was volunteered) and gave an overview of the changes which were minor and of no concern. They were some white-list additions and cleos improvements.

The team was asked to verify no corruptions where present on the file.
01:40 UTC - Fork concerns squashed between 1.0.1 to 1.0.2
01:43 UTC - Updates complete, voting process started

Summary
I am indeed more relaxed now we have a consensus across the block producer group to move forward and am very excited to start using the EOS network. The price of EOS is responding positively to this news (at time of writing) which is always a good thing for any holders. The next few weeks will be an interesting ride as we navigate the plethora of wallet options,( legitimate and nefarious), voting procedures and applications both online, mobile based and even CLI. We will all learn a lot and share our experiences to continue the amazing collaborative nature the EOS community has created.

If I knew the answer to that I would be a very rich man ;-).
John Mcafee has stated he feels the price will hit $33 by the end of July if that helps at all.
All depend on BTC if BTC go to 8.5k 30usd will be for shure!

I saw ivan on tech streem and there is new version of EOS that block producers decline to move to
so i hope hack will not come just after launch i will still stay on exchanges just for security.
I think we may have just seen another foundation stone laid for the next industrial revolution
