Is Bitcoin usable again?!?

in #bitcoin7 years ago (edited)

Hey everyone I just wanna announce that Bitcoin might be usable again...
A few months ago Bitcoin had crazy transaction fees going up to 55 dollars, so if you wanted to buy something with Bitcoin you had to pay 55 dollars of fees, even if the price of the stuff you wanted to buy costed less then 55 dollars.

A few weeks ago Bitcoin Lightning Network Beta platform went online, apparently even in test phase, it's already having a huge impact on the transaction fees.

So... how much are the transaction fees going for?!?
Here is a screenshot...

So yeh right now Bitcoin is costing 0,95 dollars on average per transaction, in my personal opinion, that's a fee that I can live with, even tho there are other cryptocurrencies with lower fees, like Litecoin going at 0,132 dollars right now.

Hope you enjoyed this article ;)
